The Sheriff's Office is excited to announce the newly created position of a Sheriff's Compliance Officer. Correctional Deputy Traci Kessler was offered the position today and accepted her new position which will be effective February 10th. We are very fortunate to have her in this role. She will oversee ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act, RILUPA (Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act), and other issues affecting inmates in our county jail. Correctional Deputy Kessler has been at the Sheriff's Office for 14 years and is looking forward to working in this new position. Congratulations Traci!
