All I can say is there are certain bondsman that care and then there are those who only want your money and want to lock you back up. These guys definitely fall into the latter category! AVOID AT ALL COST!

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office developed probable cause and have arrested Rafael Alfredo Pabon, charging him with 2nd Degree Rape and 1st Degree Kidnapping. Pabon is 35 years old and a resident of Union County. This arrest stems from a rape and kidnapping that occurred on 1/4/17 in Cabarrus County, N.C. Pabon is currently being held in the Cabarrus County Jail under a one million dollar bond.

Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office is seeking information concerning a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian. On Friday, January 13, 2017 at approximately 11:20pm an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian on Hwy 49 in Harrisburg near the Auto Bell. This vehicle and the driver failed to stay at the scene and fled. This is all of the information we can release at this time.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office sends congratulations to Deputy Richard Wright, Deputy Jonathan Callahan and Deputy Michael Reynolds, the newest graduates of Basic Law Enforcement Training.
Deputy Reynolds was awarded the most improved Physical Fitness Award and Deputy Callahan was chosen by his class mates as the Class Speaker to present at last night’s graduation ceremony held at the Kannapolis Performing Arts Center.
We are proud that these men have chosen law enforcement as their profession, and the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office as their home.

The NC DARE Officers Association is currently preparing for their 4th Annual "DARE to Fish" Bass Tournament on Badin Lake in Stanly County NC, which will be held on April 29th, 2017. The 2016 event registered sixty-eight boats. One hundred and thirty-six anglers attended and competed for over $2000 in monetary prizes and several thousand in raffle prizes and were also treated to breakfast and lunch. This was one of, if not the, biggest tournaments on Badin in 2016. The 2017 tournament’s location is the Alcoa boat landing in Badin, NC. Registration begins at 5am and blastoff is at 6:30am. The weigh-in for the first flight of boats is between 2:30pm and 2:45pm (no late arrivals accepted, no exceptions). Registration fee is $100 per boat, this includes entry into the tournament AND the Big Fish contest, limit of no more than two (2) people per boat. Prizes include $1000 for first place, $750 for second place, $500 for third place. More spots will be paid out pending the number of boats entered. As always, there will be t-shirts, raffle prizes, and plenty of good food for breakfast and lunch!!. There are $1000 platinum, $500 gold, $250 silver, and $100 bronze sponsorships as well as item donation sponsorships available. The NC DARE Officers Association is a 501c3 organization made up of law enforcement officers throughout NC. The NC DARE Officers Associations’ purpose is to train new DARE officers and provide in-service training for current DARE officers within the state of NC at no cost to their represented agency or the tax payer.
