It was a week ago when we posted our latest Adams County Jail google review (https://bit.ly/2IubGWX) from a former inmate. That post went viral and while most of it was true, today we’d like to take the opportunity to show you our jail. We couldn’t do this without the help from Sr .Deputy Sedillo. #sillysedillo #acsoproud

On Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, Adams County Sheriff Michael McIntosh and members of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office met with Congressman Mike Coffman (R-CO) in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Coffman introduced a bill honoring CO-06 Fallen Officers. This bill will rename two U.S. Post Office facilities in the 6th Congressional District after two law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
This bill states;

H.R. 5791 would recognize the U.S. Postal Service facility located at 9609, South University Boulevard in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, as the “Deputy Sheriff Zackari Spurlock Parrish, III, Post Office”, and H.R. 5792, would recognize the U.S. Postal Service facility located at 90 North 4th Avenue in Brighton, Colorado, as the “Deputy Sheriff Heath McDonald Gumm Post Office.”

As National Police Week continues, we are reminded of the thousands of brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting their communities.
As the bill continues to make its way to Congressional committees for their consideration, you can read the bill and click on the link below.
