For immediate press release:

On October 16, 2018 deputies were dispatched to the area of Broadway Street and East Second Street in reference to a loose pig in the area. Turns out, the ham had warrants and was much faster than one would think! After a brief foot pursuit, Deputy Ryan Hull and Deputy Brittani Price were able to take it into custody without further incident. The pig was transported to the Mason County Animal Shelter where it is currently being held until its owners come forward or it can be adopted/rescued. We would like to thank the Maysville Police Department for their assistance!
