First off, Angie returned my call very promptly. I had called a couple of bond companies; one where the phone rang for several minutes and then disconnected my call without offering voicemail or an answering service, and another where I was able to leave a voicemail, but has not returned my call. Angie was recommended to me by several friends, and I can see why. In addition to returning my call in less than 20 minutes, she was very helpful when it came to explaining all the ins and outs of cosigning for someone, and was willing to work with me when it came to the financial aspect of the bond. She made everything happen fast, which made me feel as tho she cared about getting my friend out of jail as much as I did. Angie was very friendly and easy to talk to. I Highly recommend All City Bail Bonds, and Angie, to anyone!

My boyfriend said he called this place over and over and they never answered when he was in jail. I called too but apparently when a company says they are open 24 hours a day that’s not always true. I’ve heard great things about the deals Angie has but it’s hard to get her on the phone and that’s the only reason I gave a 2 star.

Whatcom Search and Rescue volunteers are highly trained to perform life saving missions in our community 24/7, 365 days a year. The Sheriff’s Office calls upon them about 40 times a year and they never say “no.” Many lives are saved every year as a direct result of their work. Congratulations on your annual banquet this evening. Bill Elfo,Sheriff

Thank you Whatcom County Health Department and Bellingham Technical College for sponsoring this week, a two day, multi-discipline training on BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DISORDERS! Representatives from law enforcement along with the treatment and prevention community are receiving valuable information and training. This program also afforded our Mental Health Deputy Jamie Collins and Lieutenant Steve Gatterman the opportunity to develop relationships and partnerships with those in other disciplines that will help where possible and appropriate to divert people from the criminal justice system and jail to more effective and sustainable treatment options. We received another report of the "Juror Scam" today when a Whatcom County Superior Court Judge informed us of the following concerning and serious situation that happened this morning. A friend received a phone call from what appearred to be the main number for the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office. The caller identified himself as a Sheriff''s Deputy and told the victim that she had a warrant for her arrest for failing to appear for jury duty. She was told to wait in front of the Courthouse to meet a deputy and she needed to stay on the phone, and to bring $800.00 with her. Fortunately the victim checked with an attorney and her friend, the Judge. We are glad that no financial or other harm came to her. This is a continuing scam that tries to intimidate people and frighten them into either transferring funds or purchasing "green dot cards" and providing the account numbers and PIN. Never provide any information or financial transaction over the phone to a caller demanding fine money, bail money or alleging that there is a warrant for arrest. Law Enforcement, nor the courts, never make calls of this nature to take care of legal matters. Phone numbers of agencies can be easily "spoofed" by the scammers to make the caller appear to be legitimate. If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from a government agency, one can always call the agency back directly to verify the information. Or - you can call your friend, the Judge!
