This place is great and is the only bailbondsmen that I would call. They are fast kind and fair. If you ever end up in a jam and need to get bailed out of jail call these people they will do everything they can to do business with you as long as you go to court, check in weekly, and follow your release conditions

UPDATE: The owner of the dog has been located and Rocko has been reunited with his family.

Yesterday around 3:30 in the afternoon, deputies responded to a report of a dog that was stranded on the opposite side of Mill Creek. The believed the dog had been there for numerous days. Four volunteers from Cowlitz Dive Rescue responded and were able to rescue the dog. The dog was quite weak and had to be carried by the volunteers part of the way across the creek and up the embankment. The dog had no collar and no owner was immediately identified. We believe the dog is from the immediate area. The dog was turned over to the Humane Society to be cared for. The Kelso & Longview Police Departments and Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office are currently accepting applications for the annual Citizen's Police Academy. The goal of the Academy is to provide useful information to citizens about law enforcement within our community and establish better communications with the citizens we serve. Instruction will be on Patrol, SWAT, Drugs, Use of Force, Street Crimes, K-9, and much more. The Academy will offer tours of the Cowlitz County Jail and 911 Dispatch Center. Students participate in a 3-hour police ride-a-long as well as a live-fire range training.

Classe are held every Wednesday evening for 10 weeks (6-9pm) plus one Saturday in April. Classes start February 20th and will convene with graduation on April 24th. Anyone who lives or works in Cowlitz County may apply and must pass a background check. There is no cost to attendees.

Applications are available at the Kelso & Longview Police Departments and the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office. Applications are also available on each agency's website.

Class space is limited to the first 30 eligible participants. Applications must be submitted no later than February 8th, 2019.
