I have never seen anything like it..Orange and animal fur chairs with a huge white Georgia bulldog..I felt like I had a flash back to the 70’s..The guy Phillip was very helpful and knowledgeable about the process..He gave me a ride to Sapps to get my car out of tow yard.. I do not know of bonding companies going out of their way to help their clients.. Best bonding Company I have ever dealt with!! You need to bond this is the place to use!!

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Reserve Officer John Phillips.

Phillips started with the reserves in 2006, became a part-time employee in 2007 and moved to a full-time deputy with the Sheriff’s Office in 2008. He retired in January of 2017 and continued as a reserve deputy until his death this morning, Monday, Jan. 14.

“John was a man of great honor and dedication,” said Chatham County Sheriff John Wilcher. “We all have incredibly heavy hearts this morning and our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Pat and his family.”

Sheriff’s Office Reserve Coordinator Deputy Richard Pfister worked with Phillips for nearly three years.

“John was a dedicated member of the Reserve Unit and he was always willing to lend a hand without hesitation,” said Pfister. “He will be deeply missed.”
