Michael Laws is a very helpful man. We live out of state and we used him to help somebody I know get out of jail. He gave us all kind of useful information and was so helpful. He made sure everything was taken care of and that my friend was also taken care of. He kept us updated and even rode out to pick him up to take him to his car. I'm so glad we found somebody like him to help us during this difficult time. He is a really good person and did way more than any other bondsman would do.

Criminals Assume Name of Sheriff's Office Personnel

On Friday Mach 22, 2019, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office was contacted by a Naco resident about a possible scam.

The caller advised that the caller id on his phone showed an incoming call from 520-432-9500 (which is the number for the Sheriff's Office) but with the name of Martinez. The caller stated that the person on the phone identified himself as Sgt. Ken Foster and stated there was a grand jury warrant for the man's arrest.

Please note: The Sheriff's Office WILL NOT call you to advise you have a warrant.

Do not let your cash leave your wallet for criminals as dumb as this!

Stay safe out there!
